Shad's murder wasn't an isolated incident. Found out this morning a human had been killed too, with evidence that a shifter had done it--that or a very large animal escaped from the zoo. That, plus the bottle I found in the club, makes me think someone's trying to stir up trouble. Things have been strained as it is, it doesn't take a huge leap of imagination to think that someone on either side is responsible for this. Maybe working together, I don't know.

This isn't my homeworld, and every other step people remind me of that. And it's tempting, to just go back home and stay there. But..goddammit, I like these people. I don't want to see them dead or caged, even if I wouldn't be around to see it. If it came to war, I don't know who'd win.

...fuck, when the hell did I start thinking all..heroeish? I'm no hero. ...I need to go misbehave.

And Ori's back. She's alive, she has a body, she's...she's here. Not just for a while at a time, for..for as long as we want, as long as we can. I asked her, in one of the times we had together, if she'd marry me if we could find a way to get her back. She said yes. I'm going to get married.
